The highlight of his career was working with IBM on the integration of channels in Mexico and Central America. Consolidating the channel market in Mexico was another highlight.

He became involved in his profession because he has a solid information technology background, including previous positions with Oracle and IBM.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Alcaraz has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry leading high-energy groups at companies such as IBM and Oracle. Mr. Alcaraz has more than eight years in research and academy, working at two leading universities: UNAM (Unversidad Nacional Autónoma de México) and ITESM (Monterrey Tec) where he is still collaborating as a lecturer. His goal is to make sure the students are hungry and want to look for different approaches to find solutions. His academic interests include hydraulics and water resources.
